Aren’t babies the most fun to crochet for?? I think so. I just love when a new baby pops up in my life, just begging for something crocheted ;) And of course a blanket is a perfect gift. So I’ve been making lots and lots of baby blankets with this pattern for a crochet ripple baby blanket! The pattern I use comes from the website Daisy Cottage Designs! I’ve used this pattern multiple times for so many darling little baby blankets. They are so fun to crochet!
For the colors and size, I just go with my gut. I don’t really follow the same stripes from the pattern either, I just go with what yarn I have on hand and and looks good. I like to use a cotton/acrylic yarn blend, so that it’s soft and you can also wash it. I’ve been loving Martha Stewart Extra Soft Wool Blend Yarn and it’s been a gem! I’ve made some small for a little snuggly and some longer for a lap blanket. They are so much fun to crochet!
